IBERAMIA is an international conference where the Ibero-american AI community comes together to share research results and experiences with researchers in Artificial Intelligence from all over the world.

The conference is supported by the main Ibero-American societies of AI.

The first IBERAMIA conference was held in 1988 in Barcelona. Since then IBERAMIA has been the leading forum for ibero-american AI researchers debating and presenting their results.

After 1998, IBERAMIA became an widely recognized international conference, with the main track papers written in English and proceedings published in Springer-Verlag LNAI series.
